schools refusing to allow students to talk about ferguson or peacefully protest by not saying the pledge or w/e is really fucked up when you think about it because this is history. this is going to be in textbooks. in the year 2114 kids are going to have quizzes about this era with the question “who was michael brown?” on them. we have to learn again and again about the american revolution but god forbid we learn about revolutions happening in this very moment
